I Wonder if the Noise Keeps Them Warm?

The cold days are coming meaning we will all be wearing layers again and wrap up in our coats, etc. And, I will not be seeing those motorcycles again zooming along the highways with that prominent and loud sound. But I like the sound of those big bikes. I actually took a photo of this Harley one night parked beside our car when we had dinner at a local restaurant. The owner probably is new to the city or perhaps a tourist because it had a gps; a zumo motorcycle gps perhaps. I am not sure because I didn’t look close.

I was looking for the photo that I took, but I couldn’t find it. I’ll surely share it with you once I find it. In the meantime, let me put on my thermals because it is really is cold today. Brrr!!!

Instant Arroz Cald-O

I bought this box from the Asian store a month or two ago, but guess what? I totally forgot about it. It was in the cabinet, but it was hidden behind my husband's boxes of instant mashed potatoes. So, it was only last week that I was able to cook it.

It was my first time to have tried this one since we always had the freshly-cooked Arroz Cald-O back home and I can say, I still prefer the home-made or freshly-cooked one. I've never been a fan of instant food, but I was drooling when I saw this. Maybe because I was missing the fresh food back home.

But I did have three bowls of this and my son had two bowls. The husband didn't even try it and I had to throw the rest. Well, at least I know now.

He’s So Nostalgic He Won’t Get Rid of Anything

My husband loves playing the guitar. It is his one loved hobby next to watching and cheering for his favorite baseball and basketball teams. He has collections of books of guitar chords and books of easy songs for guitar which he has acquired since he was in high-school. Some of the books are worn out now, but he doesn’t want to get rid of them. Besides, the chords are still readable so, no problem.

His guitar is sitting on its rack near our fire place and he’s had it for years. It still looks good to me and I actually thought it was new. That's how he took care of it. That’s how he loves it.

There is Always Something To Measure

The holidays are definitely on the horizon. It always makes me excited thinking about it because it is definitely my favorite time of the year. And it is not only because of the gifts, but more importantly, the spirit that comes along with it.

When we think or talk about the holidays, what instantly comes to our minds are the gifts, the food, the decorations and of course, the giveaways from businesses, companies, and those people who have made it an annual practice.

Corn Dog

This is one of my husband's favorite lunches that he brings to work even before me and my son got here. Aside from the fact that it is so quick and easy to prepare because he only has to heat it in the microwave for two minutes, he likes the taste of it a lot too.

My son, Yogi likes it a lot as well that he always has it for snack whenever he gets home from school. But not me. I only tasted it once and that was it. I've always preferred freshly cooked meals and though I do eat some frozen foods too, this one simply didn't appeal to my taste buds.

Nevertheless, a box or two of it are always included in our grocery shopping every week because my boys simply couldn't last a day without these dogs. (",)

Cheaper Can Be Better

The year is almost over and, once again and before I know it, it is time for me to renew the web hosting services for my websites. The scheduled time of renewing them is in the first quarter of next year, but no biggy because I am always prepared when it comes to that. Also, I’ve been using the same cheap web site hosting so, no problem at all because it is certainly not a pain in the pocket. It’s a benefit that I have been enjoying for three years now.

X Out Those Circles

Sleepless nights and stress contribute much to having dark circles around the eyes. But it is not something to be worried about because a dash of those eye creams will certainly hide those dark circles away.

Crunchy Munchies

Cinnamon is my least favorite flavor. There was a cinnamon flavored cracker given to me before and I didn’t like the taste. That’s why when my SIL’s younger sister suggested cinnamon flavored pita chips for me to try, I was hesitant. But I tried them anyway and I was surprised that the taste didn’t turn out the way I expected. It is sweet and delish. I am actually munching on them now while I am browsing online for jobs - office jobs, secretarial jobs, Audiologist Jobs, etc. I read anything about jobs that I stumble upon.

Anyway, I just bought one bag of the chips and now I am certain that it won’t be the last. Want some?

Don’t’ Dally; DEAL “EM!
