I am not so much into pies, more so buko but when I tasted this buko pie, it changed. We got this as present or pasalubong from my SIL Karen when they had their vacation trip to Ilo-Ilo City - part of the island of Visayas here in the Philippines where this buko pie is their delicacy. The pie is so tasty that I was craving for more. But the sad thing was, we only got a box and it's only enough for the whole family. LOL. Well, maybe the next time my SIL will go back there, she'll bring us more. Hee hee.

Oh, I love buko pie! Haven't had it in years! A friend from college who lives in Laguna used to send me those as I go back and forth to Manila; enjoyed it immensely. Now I miss it!
Buko pies are really such a treat. This one looks so scrumptious! It's been a while since I had one too. :)
