More often than not, mom’s on the telephone in the morning talking to a friend whenever I come out of the bedroom. And there’s one topic that I overhear them talking about almost everyday: their weights and how to burn fat the easiest way.
Mom has been trying to lose excess pounds, and not just because she wants to look good but also because of her health. She is diabetic and was told to lose weight and watch her diet. She has tried all kinds of weight loss products; some worked; some didn’t; and she even experienced the weight plateau where she couldn’t lose any more weight. But that was only for a few months. She was finally able to lose a little more weight after that and achieved her ideal weight. She’s never been on maintenance medication and she's now maintaining the weight which is best for her for months. Way to go mom!





Good to know that your mom's weight is stable now. Diabetic people are really always in danger. And I hope she's also maintaining her blood sugar. :D
Hi, I also do believe that Dieting conjures up feelings of deprivation and denial. Dieting is unsustainable, no fun. Few dieters win the war against hunger.Balanced diet is most preferable as per my point of view.
