If your schedule works for you, stick to it. Don't change your schedule if you feel good starting your day with exercise. In fact, people who exercise in the morning are more successful at making it a habit. If your schedule favors an early workout, make sure you stretch and have a good warm-up to insure that your body is ready for action.
Body temperature is at its lowest about 1-3 hours before waking up in the morning, hence others have success increasing their metabolic rate in the morning with an early work out.
During the late afternoon, the body temperature reaches its peak. Some studies have consistently shown that exercising late-in-the-day produces better performances and more power. Muscles are warm and more flexible, perceived exertion is low, reaction time is quicker, strength is at its peak, and resting heart rate and blood pressure are low. If stress management is your goal, exercise always works, all the time.
And if you're wondering when it's best to train for an upcoming event, it all depends on what time you'll actually be competing. For example, if an upcoming marathon begins at 7:00 a.m., train at that time. Experts agree that exercise at any time is better than no exercise at all.
So, the best time to exercise is what works best for you!

I've always wanted to exercise in the morning. I bet I would be more alert all day. At this time I workout after my son is in bed. Probably affects my sleep. :(
I think evening time is better for me. I am a worker and not able to do exercise in early morning. Different people have different type of schedule for list. anyway thanks for sharing and creating this post with us.
