I can be shy but I can be bold too and here's the proof. LOL. This week's
topic is all about showing flesh. You can just imagine the guts I need to
gather ...

Or better known as tidbits, dainties or sweetmeats are one of the many foods that never missed to be in our table whenever there's an occasion here at home. This is one of those desserts that Mom really likes. Among the kakanin, palitaw (rice cake) and maja blance are my favorites. I love the palitaw a lot especially when there's a lot of sugar in it. I missed kakanin since the last time we had one was on All Soul's Day which was when this picture was taken. Mom used to cook maja blanca and it's really delicious. I wonder when will Mom cook maja blanca again.
Whenever I flip through magazines, one thing that instantly catches my eyes are those individuals who made it to the top - those people who were successful in their chosen profession because of their intelligence, talent and undeniably excellent skills. They are those people that a lot of us admires, and envies at the same time. But we do all know that they could never be there if not for hard work, perseverance and perhaps believing in one’s self. We can probably reach the top if we acquire the attitude they’ve got, I believe so.
Yogi had his first ever school Christmas Party this morning. Shakey's did the food preparation and organized the parlor games. The kids had fun though Yogi didn't join in any of those. He's always been shy to join in those stuff but he can't sit still and was roaming around and running with his classmates the whole time. And when Shakey's mascot came out from his hiding place, Yogi ran towards me. Never thought he's afraid of mascots. It was his first time to have seen one. He didn't cry though and was watching from the distance but he didn't return inside the room until the mascot was nowhere to be seen. I told him that how come he's afraid of the mascot when in fact it looks so cute and adorable, isn't it? Hehe.
My sis-in-law to be, Karen celebrated her 32nd Birthday on December 8th. As a treat, she brought us this Chocolate Stripes cake which we had for snack. Having a sweet tooth, i had three slices that day and was actually craving for more but i know it won't be fair for the others. Hehe. But guess what? Nobody dared to eat those three slices left until morning the next day. Hmmm, i know what you're thinking now. You got it right! I had them the next day. Haha. I do believe those were meant for me. Lol.

After a week of having flu and being absent from school, Yogi is now fine and was able to attend classes since Tuesday since Monday was a Holiday. Glad his flu is now gone and he is already wearing a happy face. It really worries me if he's sick like that because aside from being absent, he also does not have the appetite. He actually lose a little weight. It shows in his face and a lot of people have noticed it. He is taking vitamins though but it's not enough to give him the appetite. I've already tried almost all kinds of vitamins there is but it didn't work on him. Have you got something to recommend? I'd appreciate it. (",)
The weather is colder and the rain drops every now and then. I was at the mall yesterday and I wasn’t aware that it was raining until I got out of the building. A few raindrops fell on my head while I was waiting for a Pedicab to bring me home, and a little later after I arrived home, I knew I’m going to have colds then because I’m starting to sneeze and I already got a little headache. I took medicine right away and felt relief. But when I woke up this morning, I had a headache again. But since it’s still tolerable, so I opted not to take meds and ate apples instead. Mom bought a dozen of apples last night so it’s just in time. As they say, an apple a day, keeps the Doctor away. (“,)
